Went on our annual fall trip to Dry Falls Mon thru Wed. Weather was gorgeous..warm and little wind, but fishing was very slow. Water temp about 60-61. Fish moving around in the morning working on the cream-colored mays. Hare's-ear and emergers worked best. Fishing died about 1pm each day, with an occasional one here and there. Fish were hunkered down and not moving much. Fortunately, it's hard to beat the setting, especially when the weather's so nice.
The lake is the lowest I've ever seen. Been going over there this time of year for 20 years and fishing is usually very good. Someone mentioned something about a problem with the dam being the reason for the low water.
Does anyone know about this?
