Thanks for the update Daryle, heard you got your materials to finish them up. Great!

Haven't heard much from the others. Are yours tied and ready to fly?
As they start arriving, I'll be updating the status here.

Looking forward to seeing everyone's patterns.

I'm updating the status on those received at the original post at the beginning, top of our thread.
So far we've got 6 of 7 ties received and third may arrive today.
They're all looking very good! :thumb:Can't wait for us to get out and try some of these patterns.
Some of you have sent eight patterns, so I can return the extras. Sometimes this is gift-given to the swapmeister. Just say your choice, I'm fine either way.

Congrats on getting a new job Jim. Sounds like it is really going to cut into your quality fishing time though...;)

If you've been checking the status at the very top, you'll see we have one more due from a nameless person. (supposedly in mail over a week ago.) What do you guys want to do?
I can either send out those received so far in a couple days or wait until this weekend to see if the final ones arrive.

Well, we are 10 days past the extended deadline... doesn't matter so much to me though. I'd probly mail em Friday at the latest if I were the swapmeister.

Thanks Eric. Yep, back to weekend fishing for me - gotta pay the bills.

Hey Ron,wasn't referring to you at all....not to worry. As an update, Ribka responded to my PM just yesterday and indicates his flies hit the mail last Thursday 3/11. With long distance mail from east side of state to west hopefully should arrive today/tomorrow (then again I don't know postal mailing time averages.) I've got all the rest divided up and ready to fly. Just the one more set.
Got to fish this weekend, so will mail them Friday AM irregardless.

    Great ties by everyone!

Unfortunately, our lone tyer never did send theirs in....Friday, on my way out town for a weekend flyfish trip I made an out of the way trip to the Post Office to drop the packages at their doorstep mailbox. I was hoping the special trip would get them to you faster and by the weekend. (Good trip by the way...Lots of tight lines)

Hey Ron, unfortunately your pre addressed postage paid envelope got mailed back to me with full 'postage due' written on it. I called the post office this morning and they said it's due to the date of March 7th on the label, the date it must be used. If you want to talk with you PO, I'm going to put both the envelopes you sent in a new envelope and add stamps to get to you. They'll be on the way to you today, Monday.

With the couple delays in the swap, our digital camera took off with the wife and is now flying around the east coast. I intended to have all the flies received and pics posted before her departure. I've got all our flies on my desk and once the wife's home with camera, I'll be shooting and posting pics.

Yeah Ron, that's crap... an expiration date on your money? Ripoff. I was a little surprised when my postal guy gave me stamps instead of a metered sticker. Glad now, I suppose - sorry to learn from your bad experience. Again, great flies guys! I'm humbled.
