Is this not a classic or what ?
Jack is awesome !
Rad flick. The ending sucks. my .02$
Yes I know the ending ... have seen it before.
But hell its a great flick !
Never seen it, but when ever I hear" Easy Rider", I imagine "Queasy Rider" for some reason.
Great movie but pretty depressing.
Was that a a political ending way back then ...
I think so ! :-(
The Navy base I was at 1969-1970 was on the fence about running it. They eventually did.
I've got to say that I loved the film when it came out, but really thought the acting was pretty bad when I watched it recently. The best thing about the movie is the soundtrack.
As young as you are. You haven't seen a lot of shit.
Compared to all my other friends, I've seen a lot.
Let's try this: Who's going to be running in the next presidental election and why will they be the front running candidate. Answer this adequately and we'll figure out how much you've seen.
Some of the more famous ones running are Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden, and Chris Christie, and I want none of them to be elected. There has only been a few good presidents.
Again, who will be running (the final dem and rep candidates). Your above answer rates a C- for a grade.
I don't take government or politics, too much pressure! I never liked politics.
Easy Rider is a classic, and even more of a cult classic. Produced on a shoestring budget as I recall. And sent Jack Nicholson's career soaring.
Easy Rider wasn't so much political as it was a social commentary of the time. Counter culture vs redneck culture...not a good combination back in the mid to late 60's.
Fonda's daughter Bridget was in the film if I recall...
I don't envy them riding those hardtail panheads at all...
Right on the commentary button! PBS will have to expand its Friday night news summary to include "Shields, Brooks, and Roper." Seriously!
I remember cruising in my old Volkswagen to the soundtrack of Easy Rider back in '69 and '70.
No cds or mp3s back then; 8-tracks were the bomb!
I had a below dash rack of maybe 20 eight tracks in my Gremlin, back when I was cool.
As in talking about Easy Rider. It's on TV Wednesday in my area. It's on a channel called the movie channel. I know there are several different channels called that but in my area it is on Channel 116
