    I will honestly have to say i didn't know that a elk calve had spots. Thought it was just deer fawns. WOW!

    Love those trail cams. My dad has a couple set up near his place outside my hometown in SE Washington. Calves started dropping there in early- to mid-June.

    Elk are magnificent critters, aren't they? But oh, do they smell!! Fortunately, the taxidermist gave my big guy a bath before he shipped him.
