I've fished the Elwha a little bit above the damn. The fishing is great and there are plenty of big fish. The last time I was up there I caught and released multiple fish over 14 inches. Theres a main trail that follows the river and alot of water to fish since its in the national park. I would suggest you get a map of the river or area and locate the trail. also stop in at the fly shop in port angeles and pick up some dry montana stones. that pattern seems to be irresistable, but anything in your box would probably work.
