Sounds like a rod shop in a box! There are a lot of really nice items available at some sweet prices.

For those who are interested in making a simple bamboo rod yourself, do some internet search work on "Poor Man's Quad". All you really need is bamboo and a plane to make a nice casting rod, plus the components of course. I belive you can turn out a rod in about a weekend of work.

Come on Josh, you know you want to do this, all you need is some bamboo and a plane ($50 bamboo+$40 Stanley plane with a hock iron) to get started. For under a hundred bucks you would have enough to make 20 rods easily.:p

The more the merrier, rod makers of course. Bamboo, the natural choice!
