Favorite Beach cannon

    I use the 6wt clear line outbound short. The head is an intermediate, while the running line floats. I'll be using the same line in a 7 or 8wt version for pinks in Puget Sound starting next month.

    That ain't no "cannon," Chester. In surf jargon, that 10' floating pier would be classified as an "Aircraft Carrier." OK, I'll give you "loose cannon" if your leash snaps, or if the weight of that battleship yanks your leg off during a wipeout.:rofl:
