  3. great pics guys, I'll have to post a couple of my favorites from this fall when I get home today. That black and white one of the north cascades is amazing. reminds me of ansel adams

  6. Looks like we have the makings for a pretty cool calendar with all these nice shots. Of course I'm not volunteering to do the work.
     
  7. A couple pics. One is an hour after sunset during a hatch, when the moon came over the moutain top and it was fricken daylight again on the Provo, in Utah. The other is mt Hood.

  8. I use Image Shack... HOW are you guys posting large pictures on this site???
    Mine come out as thumb nails
     
  9. you need to have a hosting service (aka uploader) that allows more bandwidth. I use googlepages. google gives you a ton of hosting for free. You could also host them on a website or server that you own.
     
  10. I use Photobucket for my hosting. I do like the thumbnails portion of Imageshack as I'm using a laptop with a native resolution 1280x800 which makes me scroll to the right to see a large picture.

  12. Here are a couple I have taken that I really like. It is not fishing and even the orcas are not into fish.. These guys are seal hunters.

  19. Like guns, cameras don't take pictures - people do. Taking beautiful images isn't so much about having the latest and greatest camera gear as it is having a camera, any camera, handy whenever an opportunity presents itself. If I hadn't had a simple P&S camera in my pocket one afternoon, the image below would never have been captured.
