    "Fecal Matters" is the name of the Washington Dept of Ecology Beach Blog. This is a great resource for Puget Sound beach fishing as it provides information regarding health closures and warnings on regional beaches and shorelines. I get their email notifications on a regular basis. I wrote about some of the risks associated with winter beach fishing, and about this great resource, in my weekly blog:

    Yup, thanks. I've also bookmarked that beach blog page, especially after what's happened lately up here in Kitsap County.
