    Hi Everyone-

I'm in need (ha! need...) of a single-hand rod to use this summer for musky. Anyone out there using a Burkheimer 9 or 10-weight single hand rod with big flies that could provide any feedback? Anyone out there have a single hand musky rod they really love? I really do prefer supporting the independent builder if I can...

    Thanks for any feedback.
    Chris

I have an 8 wt. Good rod, only knock on them is it can take a long time to get one repaired if you broke it. This was true a couple of years ago, I am not sure if they've straightened things out or not.
