Finally some topwater bass buggn' action!

  1. Out at lake 16 late afternoon evening. Missed 4 hooked up with two that would have been in the multi-poundage range and somehow got one to hand. Not red hot but some around willing to slam a bug. Fished frog gurglers first then went to the basic red head white body chugger. The chugger got the bigger fish.

Sweet, I spotted a really fine bass at my favorite P&T on Saturday. I'll have to make up a chugger or two and give him a try.

went to eastern wa.over the weekend, walked out to desert lake and hammerd the Bass. They were in their nest.A few small ones but other than that,I'd say they were 16 to 18 inches. All total I caught 40 to 50 Bass, well worth the walk across the desert and ticks and snakes and mosquitos and heat.

    Nice.

Tried 16 last weekend. Only one on top and I missed it because I wasn't paying attention. If I can get off early today I and the weather is fair I may hit 16 again this evening.
