Had a short window to fish and took it. Hit a well known beach in MA 13 while I was home from Yakima for the day. Caught a nice Coho which I gladly kept and released another pink. The pink fought like hell it was cool. Both fish were a blast on my 5wt Beulah Spey. Both fish were caught on green and pink clousers. I cant wait to pick up my 6wt single handler this week.

Coho for first fish is awesome! I always fish beaches as if I'm going for coho (fast strip and clouser or shock n awe pattern), but that doesn't stop pinks from jumping on my hook.

From your neck of the woods to mine, it's a doable trip. Head over in the next couple weeks and I'll get you several.
