Got my first steelhead on the fly today on the Grand Ronde. I was fishing for about an hour on my first time through a run down off shumaker road. It was about a 5lb hatchery buck. I was fishing by myself but it didn't keep me from letting off a load hollar to hills. Man, that felt soooo good! To all you trying to catch your first steelhead on the fly, keep going for it... it is WELL worth it!

    It's a beautiful Day!!!

    Brad Tucker

PS. I got some pictures of other guys fishing down on shumaker in the beautiful scenery, so if anybody was there and wants me to send them via email I will do that.
