Okay, not a huge deal, but..... Took my new yak out to some salt water today and enjoyed the sun, salt and surf. I was so busy getting used to the way this thing handles I didn't even fish. Maybe tomorrow.
Nisqually? Looks interesting. A lot calmer than it was at Titlow this morning. I was just on the beach, but 8 mph south wind with a strong inbound tide made for major waves mid-channel and 1 to as much as 2 foot waves hitting the beach.
Yep! Nisqually. A little wind, but I kept behind some headlands, and the tide was fairly slack. A very pretty day. Lets do it again!
