Chomped an October Caddis Dry.
If you look close you can see the ends of the rubber legs.
Fly came out easy with no apparent harm done in spite of the deep take.

And I don't know how you guys are fishing in your poor weather but it is still pushing the mid 70s to low 80s here! Fishing weather for sure! Happy Thanksgiving.

Local ponds on the west side of Phoenix! They are stocked along with grass carp for algae managment! I started targeting them for the fight. This one took me to my backing 3 times, and every run he went on I tightened the drag a little more. He was an animal.
As for the river, my family live in North Bend, and said the Snoqualmie is raging! I am hoping when I come for christmas I will get the opportunity to fish the upper section of the Yakima river.
