I didn't want to hijack anymore of WT's thread so here ya go Mumbles:clown:

I caught these out of M13 this morning 2 hrs on the out bound tide. Water was cold and very windy and spurts of rain. Very sparse flatwing sandlance pink over white with purple marabou collar.

Sweet! And you shared details on your secret pattern, too, and the tide! Good stuff. You're going to confuse everyone now who are convinced the best fishing is on the incoming tide . . .

Dang....red X's on my screen. I've been planning to hit the outgoing tide this weekend. Seems likes everyone's reporting pink/white. I better tie some up.

Oh Mr. E.! That is sooo juicy! I was able to beat the water briefly this morning at the PNP. I moved frequently, started with a popper on my floater, no visible fish jumping, tailing, trailing, nothing. Dropped below with my 40+ intermediate and some clouser and deciever patterns, also nothing (two shakers and two bullheads that I'm counting as NOTHING). I was only there long enough to get the end of the outgoing tide, I could not stay any longer. A number of gear guys, maybe seven, and one fly fisherman...me.

Well done sir, well done indeed. Very bright and shiny. That sounds like a nice pattern too, how about a photo of that for a visual tip on the proportions? Thanks for sharing. Here is a perfect example of someone not fearing losing any fish to me. Teases me with the fish porn shots, gives me nearly his GPS coordinates, tells me his exact pattern and welcomes all competition. Well done again, and thanks for sharing and putting that understood challenge out there.

Fair enough, I'm headed south in search of your GPS coordinates, those distinctive purple X's and some of them there shiny slimy creatures from the deep (okay from the deep is an expression, I know they were in relatively shallow waters). I'll whip up some flies based on your previous description...or I'll stalk you, sneak into your backcast and get myself hooked...then I'll get one for sure or at least a good look at it)

Not these ones, found a great drop off to the sound. I hooked up with these girls in an area that was about 45' + drop off , although they did take my fly, fishing it subsurface.

Continuing to dial into your GPS coordinates, if you turn around slowly you will find me in your back pocket.

Mumbles, you are the pocket rocket master. Now, if Mr E is wearing waders then you might have to devise an alternative plan to hone in on where he is fishing.

Obiwan, I've attempted to track you too, but you are stealthy and your avitar always distracts me for long enough that you elude me. Mr. E. has left a trial of clues that can be tracked. All kidding aside, it is nice to see such wonderful fish overflowing someone's basket.

Not quite yet, I still have much more to learn. Although I do have my favorite area pretty dialed in. I contribute my success to this Board and several Master Anglers here for all the advise shared.:beer2:

Anyone who has a GPS bug....
Slip one in his boat so Mumbles can track his movements.
