    Hey guys!

I just moved to the area about 2 weeks ago(I spent a few months out here back in 2012), and I'm looking for some awesome places to go fishing. I'm mainly interested in trout. I have already visited the Cedar(always good for a fish or two), and the Green(no luck so far). I also visited the Snoqualmie back in 2012(I pulled a 19" trout out of the south fork, no I'm serious.) but haven't went this year.

I know there has to be more places around here that I'm missing. I've heard the Deschutes and Nisqually but it seems like they aren't very productive. I also fished the Tilton down by Morton back in 2012, is it still productive?

    Thanks guys!

The best trout fishing around Dupont is in Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming, a bit far for a day trip.

The local Deschutes remains productive for small cutthroat, but I think Tacoma stopped stocking trout in the Tilton because it conflicts with steelhead management.

Yeah thats what I heard about the Tilton. Is there really no where else worth going for a day trip? I don't mind driving a few hours for good fishing. I never did visit the Middle Fork Snoqualmie but it seems to get alright reviews. Is it worth it as well?

How far up the Cowlitz? It's a long river.

I too live in dupont. For Trout there is some good local fishing but its not going to be talked about on here. I am not going to burn any spots but the beach action for Sea runs is pretty good. Shoot me a PM and I will take you out to some spots less then a hour away if your interested. For big trout I head to the Yakima, I have a 3 person raft and head over there pretty frequently. I am always looking for guys to split gas and usually have a open seat.

Hey guys sorry for the late reply. I do appreciate the offers and advice!

I hope I didn't sound harsh in my last post - I just figured there HAD to be something at least 'decent' close by.

Thanks again, hope to see some of you out!
