Does anyone know if there is any viable fishing opportunities off of Mercer Island? I only have a couple of hours on Saturday morning to fish, and I have to stay close... Any ideas???

    Thanks!!!

If you are really desperate - some guys will flyfish for perch. Look for submerged weed beds 8-20 deep. Use small wooly-bugger type patterns - try olives, reds and yellows. You might also try throwing some larger streamers for bass around some structure if you have access to a boat.

I thing most of the trout, and there are some very large ones, in LW get caught by the trollers on spoons and such.
