I'm heading up that way- any advice/experience about the Stamp river, other area rivers, or salt?

Port Alberni - salmon capital of the world! (at least a big sign says that) Been there several times, but only on the salt. China creek fish camp is a great place to launch and stay. I haven't river fished up there, but I know it's good. Their is a fly shop in Alberni that can probably help you out. By the way, the salt water action kicks donkey! Good Luck :THUMBSUP YT

Thats funny, 2 weekends ago I was at nearby Campbell River, and they too have a big'ol sign claiming they are the "Salmon Capital of the World". They really should talk to each other :BIGSMILE
