Fly Fishing...Thanks to all!

  1. Thanks to everyone, here and out in the water for your help and advice. After last years bad salmon run and being skunked (a good year to work on my casting and taking in the views), this year has shown me what a great sport you're all talking about. Lately, I had been losing all the fish I have been hooking into and I really didn't know what I was doing wrong. I watched a fellow FF bring in 2 and also lose them. I then realized that I was not the only one. It is exciting just to get that hook up and real special if you can land it. This kind gentleman also gave me a few pointers on my casting (he saw that I was having problems).
So...Yesterday I released a 13-15lb King, today I landed 2 good sized Cohos by 10:30. Thanks again to everyone in the fly shops, on the beaches and those who add to this forum...
...Oh and a thank you to Jimmy out there somewhere, I have not wrapped the fly around the tip of my rod in over a week!
    Randy :)
