I'm hoping to get a few recommendations for begginer fly tying videos. Need to find something filmed point of view style...a lot of videos I have found on YouTube or other sites are not filmed this way so everything appears backwards, making it extremely difficult for a beginner to follow along.
Thanks
Or you can take Charlie Craven's advice and tie left handed. Once you learn to wind the thread it is an easy motion to repeat and manipulating materials is easier with the dominant hand.
Just type Hans Weilenmann orDaveyMcPhail into google, then click on search. Very well done videos, the very best thing is to find a fly tying group in your area and go to their meetings. Lots of hands on help from those groups.
Caddis Fly Shop in Oregon has a great series of fly tying videos on Youtube.
This is an older thread, you may not receive a response, and could be reviving an old thread. Please consider creating a new thread.
