I was thinking about starting a foam fly swap and was wondering how many would be interested.Im looking at 2 flies each and maybe 12 tiers.let me know if there is any interest.
Lets make it official.
Foam fly swap with up to 12 tiers doing 2 flies each(22 flies). They need to have foam in there some where.Lets have a due date of April 15 (tax day). All normal swap rules apply.I will send out address when it gets close to time.
If you can give about a month to finish, I'm in....got some fishing to get in this month.
I've got a spider pattern I can tie up that works great on warm water fish.
IN with two hoppers. Same essential pattern, but different color combos. I'll layer up my three sheets of foam, spread the adhesive and get it drying as soon as the site goes down!
I'm ending up taking an old faithful black ant pattern and turning into a foam pattern.
The old black ant sank after awhile; thus at a certain lake with huge fish the bite would stop.
I think this new, better floating version might be deadly...we'll see.
I'm about half way through with my ties.
That sounds good steeli. You guys might want to send your stuff in a bigger container than usual.some of these flies i could see being quite big.I know mine are going to be.
