Got some doubles the other day and thought I'd try something different so what do u think
Wow almost 50 veiws but no responses.. I have been told that this color pattern should work on any coastal river or up in the Oly pen. Any thoughts???
What are you looking for? It looks fine, meaning it'll fish. If you're looking for a critique, then I recon the body is dubbed a bit thick, which would make the fly a bit more buoyant until you soaked it well, and the wing, tail, and throat look a bit long to me.
Tie some more in a variety of colours and test them out for yourself.
Agree on the wing, tail, throat being long. But it is pretty and better than anything I can tie up these days Thanx for the pic.
The throat will foul... Keep it shorter than the hook bend. Lots of us like wings:thumb:
