My buddies and I are heading over for our annual opening day fishing excursion. Do any of you know what the lakes look like at the present? Specifically Lenice/Nunnaly or Lenore? Are these lakes totally frozen over, or are there areas to fish? Any input would be greatly appreciated!

I have heard that Nunnally is good to go. There are other March 1st openers that are still iced over and won't be fishable.

Thanks guys! Any word on Lenore?

  5. Drove by Lenore today, approx. 3/4th has ice cover. Open on south end, south end of the big island has open water on east shore, and north boat launch has some open water. North end of the lake has enough open water for the "Hog Line" but not much room for 'toons.

Thanks for the info Coulee. We are formulating a plan of attack as I write this.

Goal #1: To catch rainbows, browns, cutts, or tigers this weekend opener.
Goal #2: Find a lake that is not frozen.
Goal #3: To catch rainbows, browns, cutts, or tigers this weekend opener.
    Goal #4: :beer2:

Thanks again guys for helping out!
