Frustrated by Cutties Today

OK, OK I already know this to be true, but man it is frustrating to toss a fly out there, and watch the wake as a cuttie follows it all the way back to your boots and then watch it turn away once it sees you. I know that this is classic behavior for them, but geez, can't they give me a break and just bite the thing - It's not like I been getting a lot of Cohos this year, the least they could do is throw me a bone:mad:

    Report : fished a beach near Tacoma this morning, several short strikes on poppers, lots of follows up to my boots on subsurface stuff. Not one fish to hand. No Cohos (but that's probably assumed by all who read here, given the year we're having).

    It kind of felt good to get rained on ....
