I am selling some of my reels. For those who appreciate finer things, here's an opportunity to grab these classic reels that are in heirloom condition.
I apologize for a long thread, but hope you find the photos enjoyable. :)
Reasonable offers welcome, for trade, I am open to the original Hardy Taupo. Nothing modern please. Doesn't hurt to ask. Tell me what you have.
    1. Prewar Hardy Perfect 3 3/8" c. 1920s.
Duplicated MkII Model with original brass foot
No modification, no polishing, close to 100 years of natural patina from fishing. Check is tight, no wobble, and inside out in pristine collector's condition. The rim has plenty of enamel.
Not quite a spey reel, but I've had it on my 5wt ACR switch rod that I use for trout and half-pounders (120 yards of 20lb dacron, 20lb running line, and 260 grain SGS)
Empty reel weighs a hair shy of 7oz. Great for trout switch or spey.

      Asking $650 or best offer
I will let the photos speak of the condition.

    2. Sage 508 made by Hardy
Not the prewar perfect, but still classic and becoming increasingly rare
This reel weighs in at 8oz with 250gr. Scandi, 3 3/4" dia. ~1" spool gap
Perfect for 4-5 weight switch or trout spey in 3-4wt. range
Loudest click of all my click-n-pawl reels

      Asking $320
