I'll be moving back to the Skagit County area next month after more than 3 years in Hawai'i, and noticed that the tides are going to be nice and low the first week of June. Naturally my thoughts turned to digging up some yummy geoducks, and was wondering if anyone out there has advice about finding those mud ducklings up north around Whidbey Island or Anacortes. I was thinking Joseph Whidbey State Park. I know it's not listed on the wdfw website as one of the popular beaches, but I remember long ago seeing a commercial boat clamming off that shoreline. Any advice would be appreciated!!
