I have been exploring the Glasso flies lately, thought some of you may like to see a couple recent ties:
    Orange Heron Variation:

    Black Heron Variation:

    And something in purple:

Wow, those look great! What hooks did you tie on?

They are #1 Blue Heron Hooks by Dave McNeese.

Those are nicely tied, does he offer them in a blind eye?

Those are the WORSE ties I've ever seen. You need to send them to me so I can properly of them. ;)

    Beautiful work.

I'm afraid I can't really say until I'm fishing, er, I mean holding them in hand to really look them over. Really well done.

Wow, I think I'll just quit tying now. Those are too pretty to fish! Well done!

No, just two sizes - a #1 about 2 1/4" long, and #2, 2" long. I guess a number three is planned. Gamakatsu makes them for him to his specs. Nice low slope on the eye and slim eye return.

Great ties Michael. The wing set looks really really nice.

Couldn't help it. I'd fish the heron on pinks and silvers.
