The Hi-Lakers are not a stocking club, they are a survey club.

The club that stocks is the Trail Blazers. TRAIL BLAZERS.

    (beats head against wall)

I am a TB and yes, I have a Golden lake to stock this year. The only way you will know what one it is, would be to either carry my fish for me, or marry me. There is some info upthread that is very sensitive, and some other info that is wrong.

I will leave it up to y'all to go find out which is which. Happy hiking.

I'm guessing if we marry you, we'll have to carry the fish anyway. But, if we carry your fish, do we have to marry you?

Jack, remember the BONEFISH. She might take you to Golden Trout Heaven but what if she hates the flats........ Those Alpine, High Laker, Trailblazer, Peak Stove, layered clothing expert, mushroom eating (nothing wrong with that!:thumb:) 6 inch trout types are a different kind of angler/personality Jack. She might hate Mojitos and Conch or God forbid linen clothes, summer storms in cabanas and line smoking, screaming, angry bonefish 200 yard runs!!!bawling: Don't be hasty!!!!!:D:D:D:D:D:D

My bedtime reading right now is a book called "Fly Fishing: Best Destinations Worldwide". The other night I read about fishing in Chile, and woke up in a puddle of drool. I have to admit that I started with high lakes, but everything I've tried since has been a barrel of monkeys....except maybe chronomid fishing.

Bonus points for places warm enuf to wet wade. Nothin' better.

Anything is warm enough to wet wade between May and October.

I know some lucky guy would find a one-in-a-million soulmate. I was a year round mountaineer for many years. Since then I have quite a few years of sedentary existance I'm now working hard to remove. I hope to join you and your colleagues in your endeavors soon. Happy Trails

The real reason that people come on here and ask for places to get to is that they are too lazy to get out and search for those places by themselves. If the places is close to a road they will all hit it. But if they have to walk too far they will just as much as forget about it.

Now me on the other hand, I will stay close to a road. I hate busting thru the bushes anymore. Just gettiing to old and lazy.

You have no true idea what the real reason that folks come here with a statement like that Jim. Some come here just for what you have said. Others come here because they like puzzles and putting the peices together brings something enriching to them. Others come here for you to bash on them, more to hear your high pitched rants, wish you well...

There are as many reasons to come here as there are people who frequent the pages.

Why not go outside and fish today, is your cubicle restricting you? I'm here now in lieu of lunch because reading what you type is more important to me than food itself.

Well, it has been very hot. There has been disruption in the positive energy of my home thanks to some house guest who shall remain un-named. If I have offended Jim or anyone else I apologize. JC, I think your actions years ago were fine and your actions now are fine. Allison, I'm okay with your choices. You are a great gear reviewer and got there because of making good choices I'm sure. That is my high road mentality for the day even after being called out in public. Even you have a reason for coming here...but we all know it is not for my posts.

I don't know squat about goldens in any damn lake nor do I really care where, when or how they got there. The damn things are to fricken' small to care about. One thing I do know it is not cool to post up personal messages for all to see unless both parties agree for those messages to be made public. Very poor netiquette.
