I have been doing some hiking around exit 62 off of I 90 and have seen a few grouse. Does anyone hunt grouse in or around this area? I have never hunted grouse but I have been thinking about it. Any input or suggestions are welcome. Thanks Jason

Jason, I've done some cross-country skiing and mountain biking around Exit 62 but never realized that there many grouse there. Were these Blues or Ruffed? In the past I have found Ruffed further east along Tanuem Creek, but the good habitat has been posted in recent years right up to the forest service boundary.

Be interested to hearing about your hunt.

It's probably blue grouse country, and there's almost certainly some national forest around there.

I'm pretty sure they were blue grouse. I have never hunted grouse so this will be a new one for me.
