I am looking for a good home for my 1 1/2 year old female GSP. She is great with our children, loves to curl up next to you on the couch, and is ready to hunt this year. She is spayed and current on all shots. House trained and sleeps in a crate. She follows the kids around the yard when they are outside playing and stays close when we go hiking in the hills outside of Ellensburg.
Now the, "BUT". Daisy has been really beating up on our little Daschund. She is fine with our golden retriever and male GSP but she is really aggressive to the little weiner dog.
I talked with the vet, since we had to take the weiner dog in, and the animal control officer. They said Daisy has decided her pack is the golden, male GSP, and her. The little kick dog is not in and gets wupped for it. Daisy is great with our kids and is very submissive with us. The animal control officer told me that dog aggressive does not usually mean people aggressive. She said it is usually one or the other.
Daisy needs to be in a one dog home. She does fine with large breed dominant males but I would keep her away from small breed dogs and cats. Being a young GSP Daisy has a LOT of energy. We have some land and she runs the perimiter non stop most of the day. Good news is she wears herself out and is really mellow and affectionate in the evening. SO, Daisy needs room to run and craves attention and something to do. I will answer any questions and pics available via email. Really a sweat heart with us but is too aggressive with the little dog.
Thanks!
