    Hi Folks,
I bought a Guideline Wading Jacket about 7 years ago (I guess) from The Irish Angler. I believe the owner's name was Jack Cooke. Great guy!
Anyhow, I haven't used this jacket excessively, but it no longer turns water. In fact, I've been completely soaked the last two times I wore it in the rain.
Could anyone give me advice on what I could do to revive this jacket's waterproof qualities?
    Thanks
    James W.

get either nikwax or revive x and follow the directions. Over time the fabric looses its ability to repel water and has to be retreated. I do it at least once a year or every other time I wash my rain gear. Same goes for your waders.

Thanks! I posted in this forum because I believe guideline products are marketed heavily to the Spey croud.
