View attachment 39549 Gunmetal gray body with burgundy Rose ribbing, silver bead.
This bad boy is so deadly you'll need a concealed weapons permit to carry it around in your box!

Danville rayon floss, 2 strand. Both colors, the correct color names are "silver" and "wine".
I was just foolin' around tying some mids for a student. The silver turns gray when wet and prompted the name. Should work just fine when gray mids are hatching/working.

That will work up here in BC . I tie one very similar , but use gunmetal flashabou for the body and red wire for the rib .

You could have also called that fly the buckeye, but then you'd have to wait until it's suspension was lifted before you could fish it.
