Has anybody fished the Hamma Hamma on the penninsula? What is the river and fish like? I have heard and read very little about it until a couple weeks ago. Any info would be great. Thanks.

the hamma hamma is small, brushy stream that you will find can be tough to fish. There are mostly small rainbows in the upper section. The water is crystal clear and mostly pocket water, but, there are some deep holes which you can easily spot bigger trout(maybe 12 inches) but they probably have already seen you and are a tough proposal. It's a pretty river with easy, small trout.
