Reminder: Free seminar tomorrow at 1:00PM -

"Fishing the Hancock Tree Farm and Beyond" with our own Kent Lufkin who will talk about wild trout, wilderness and solitude that lie behind the locked gates that line the county road along the North Fork of the Snoqualmie. Located 25 miles east of Seattle, Kent Lufkin has spent much of the past decade fishing the 150 square mile tree farm's rivers, lakes and ponds, the adjoining Alpine Lakes Wilderness, and the Snoqualmie forks. He'll tell you what it takes to get in to and beyond the farm, what kind of fish you'll find there, and most importantly, what it takes to catch them.

Thanks to a hard drive crash last summer, my original presentation and many of the images in it were irretrievably lost. When Leland asked me to reprise the show, I had to scramble to rebuild it from a mix of old and new images. In the process I added a lot of additional content and maps.

So even if you saw my original presentation at Orvis a couple years ago or subsequently at the HiLakers or Kitsap Fly Anglers, this will be an entirely new version filled with fresh information and tantalizing fish porn.

I look forward to meeting you in person this Saturday at Orvis in Bellevue.

I visited the HiLakers Club meeting for Kent's presentation and it was excellent.

damn...my family has been fishing and hunting in the tree farm sence the 50's and the fish that use to be in those ponds were simply amazing. i can think of 15+ ponds off the top of my head where 3-6lb trout were very common and most averaged 20"

over the last 10 years though, ive only caught a handful of fish worth bragging about. its a shame how down hill the fishing has went.

If any of you guys are coming, come early. We've had a lot of phone calls on this one - unless it's the same three guys calling over and over.
