I hope this image comes through; a friend of mine just sent this to me, and I haven't had a chance to verify this personally. I'm wondering if anyone else has seen this coming on their gear?

Medical Excise Tax on Retail Receipts

This is an image of a sales receipt from Cabela's, a popular sporting goods store.

OK, can't get this to come through. There's apparently an excise tax on sporting goods; This is very similar to the Pittman-Robertson excise tax, but is a mandate from obamacare. Can anyone else verify this?

OK, thanks to Mark, it seems this was an error on Cabela's part. Of course we've had Pittman-Robertson excise tax on sporting goods since what? The `30's? P/R taxes are the direct result of lobbying by sportsmen's groups waaay back when, and go to support the national forests, along with everything that's in them. That's one tax that could be raised a percent or two, and I'd not complain at all, especially considering I live in one:D
