I have a feeling Chris will move this thread over to "Conservation" (where it admittedly belongs). But I imagine that the traffic over here is a lot higher, and I wanted to call everyone's attention to the absolutely sterling comments O mykiss is submitting to NOAA Fisheries about the proposed new policy for counting hatchery fish with wild salmon and steelhead in making listing determinations. You'll find his comments on the Thread in "Conservation" called "Forward From Washington Trout."

I hope anybody interested in this issue will read what O mykiss hasd to say. It should serve as an example that you don't need to be a "pro" to contribute meaningfully to the protection of YOUR wild-fish resources.

    Good on ya, OM! :thumb:
