button box or piano
Jerry, how much do you need, so I can put it aside in the freezer?
4 pounds would suffice. I don't want to take all your elk burger.
Onto the big meal on Saturday night. Did everyone want smoked ribeyes again? I've done it 2 years in a row. Its always a favorite but just checking. Also its imperitive I get an accurate head count for food especially for the ribeyes. We had so many last second buy ins I had to cut down ribeyes last year. Will put exact info on the food thread when I put it up. But have to get an accurate count. May buy two ribeye slabs. If we have some leftover can do a ribeye hash on Sunday (that was a hit at the 2 fly as well).
4 lbs it is. Count me in on the rib-eye.
That's a HELL YES from me on the ribeye!
Hey Matthew how'd your ribeye turn out?
All; Just made up a list of those planning on attending this years get together and put it on the first page. If your name isn't there, speak up.
24 and counting.
Since Jerry is cooking again, I'm coming. Way too good to miss. Jerry, just give us the word on how much and if you want us to chip in via Pay Pal.
jerry i vote for bacon bomb friday and definitely the ribeye saturday. i still wake up all sweaty thinking about it. that and the bacon wrapped jalapeno poppers....
my buddy Nic will be with me again this year. he aint on here but he'll be coming. just FYI
Mr. Mad Computer Skillz!
Just got my March Schedule finalized. I will be coming Thursday. Plan on arriving mid-day to help with camp kitchen set up and general settling in acivities.
That's great Rob. Can't wait to see you.
Will do bacon bomb Friday. Probably do a fried tenderloin like I did last year (looks like chicken fried steak) for Thursday.
Will put a post up in the next couple days for food buy in. if you want to eat what I'm cooking you gotta read and respond to that post.
I might not be fast but atleast I'm not good.:thumb:
Jerry, it was awesome! Thanks for the info. I think it will become a holiday tradition along with my smoked turkey. (turkey for turkey day and rib eye for C-mass)
Brewing up the Bacon Bomb Porter tomorrow! I'm quite excited about this one.
Evan do you bottle any of your beers or do you put them in those kegs?
I do both: keg for beer I take to events and whatnots, bottle for home consumption.
Does everyone that is going have a ride/boat down the river, at least that would like to?
Perhaps a list of people bringing watercraft would be prudent.
1. Me: drift boat.
I would love a spot on a boat. I don't have anything lined up yet, so if you're looking to keep a seat warm I'm game. I can also row a bit too.
