Had a couple of choices to fish
    the early morning high tide.
Decided to go for the short drive
and take a chance for silvers at a
private beach. Woke up my fishing
partner John and we were into fish
on our first casts. No silvers but
lots of cutts. At first they were all
cookie cutter sized at 11 inches. I
finally got into something much larger
that we both thought was a silver.
After many jumps a blistering runs I was
able to release a very fat 18 incher. This
was followed by a 16 that put up another
strong fight. Small pink woolly bugger with
a white or green tail was the ticket.
About 10 fish for me in two hours of fishing.

Nice Dave! I just got back from my Idaho trip and am looking forward to still finding some coho, but I should be chasing some sea run cutthroat right now! This is the best month of the year!

Good going Dave, sounds like some nice sized cutts. That's a good idea on the woolly bugger color scheme.
