Well I drive by the washougal everyday and everyday since April 16th noone has been on that river. So I played hookey from work today and tied up some flies and when on down to the river. It was a beautiful day today there were a few gusts of wind but the sky was a little overcast and the water was clear. So I got in the water and starting swinging a Skunk. I worked my way through this one hole and was heading down toward a good riffle I always do a wet fly swing in the area I am about to walk Cause you just never know! and Bam whooo-hooooo ! what a good fight. How come It always scares the you know what out of me when ever I get a good hit LOL. I finally pulled her to hand she was bright bout 22" I am so glad noone at work reads this board Hee-hee!:7 :7

Good to hear of some fish in the SW Washington streams. Was it a summer run or a late winter? I hooked a late winter a few weeks ago, but no summers for me yet.
