thats awesome. thats my hope after getting a good lesson
It wasn't the lessons, he now has a boat that will take him bank-to-bank.
Bass turds just rows up and down the sky back trolling his spey rod now.
pulling plugs on a sink tip
It's a wise fellow who decides he needs a lesson when transitioning from sh to dh. I could have saved myself a lot of pain if I hadn't been so pig-headed.
The other piece of wisdom is to learn to be totally OK with sucking at dh casting for awhile... just enjoy the river and give yourself time to get used to it.
i am self taught pro, i am in a whole nother realm and have mastered the two hander.
Will you do demonstrate how to drift shrimp from a boat on a two-hander? Are you THCI?
APFFM Accelerated Program to Fly Fishing Mastery i just searched this on google nothing came up
You mean you can do all this:
http://www.fedflyfishers.org/Portal...anded Casting Instructor Performance Test.pdf
....but won't because you won't join the FFF? I'd love to hear your terms. Well, love might be a strong word.
Washington lakes....recruitment center of fly fishing special forces
DUN DUN DUN!!!!
I would never associate washingtonlakes with the word knowledge.
There is no way this shit is real. I can't believe any one person could be this stupid and ironic at the same time.
even if this Nate is fake, i checked out some of his posts on the wafakes and he has basically said about all this stuff. now that's Olympic gold of irony.
Folks keep in mind that there are more than a few very good casters/instructors (some who are very well-known fly fishers or guides)of both single-hand and two-hand fly casting that won't take the FFF certification tests or who have taken and passed the FFF certification tests who then don't want to pay the FFF its yearly certification fee (and membership fee as well) to remain a certified casting instructor. Once a person earns a teaching certificate in education, he doesn't have to pay a yearly certification fee to keep his certification, but that is exactly what the FFF requires for its certified casting instructors.
Aside from completely missing the facetious nature of TURDS (I call him TURDS for short, cause we're close like that), you think he meant to tie the sink tip to a plug directly?
TURDS, I think he just implied you're a complete idiot.
I haven't been told yes or no by Pamela Anderson, Liv Tyler or Salma Hayak. But I'm pretty sure I still know the answer.
You sound like the tools who used to schill "guitar playing secrets" books. I hope you have all the success in the world, but right now I smell a whiff of Oxyclean squeezed from a Shamwow.
Someone please tell me they get that last bit. Gawd I hope I don't have to explain it.
Prerequisites to be a "premium" washingtonlakes member:
You've bonked more native steelhead than you have teeth.
You snag wild salmon with treble hooks but you're mad at the Indians.
You use the state fishing regs as mountain money.
You don't buy a fishing license because you can't afford it and its optional anyways.
You have enough buzz bombs to start world war 3.
You follow Nate around like a brain dead idiot while he flosses. (Not his teeth)
Nate your a clown. Douche!
You know, you do need to realize this is a FLYFISHING website! That post was a tongue in cheek joke about plugs on a sinktip.
Sir, I've done some investigating and you're very much into doing promoting about your business and other sites. It's time for you to stop now. Thanks!
