if a mudhen is a duck..........

    then this an all duck spey :rofl: , such as it is

    I never really considered them a duck though,more like target practice , :thumb:

    Now if I could find some black duck somewhere sometime??? anybody? :beathead:

    What good is eBay if there isn't any black duck on there? :confused:

    -Shown is an AJ3 gold hook

    -Day-glo green antron floss body
    -medium oval gold Lagartun rib
    -mallard flank from 3rd rib
    -mudhen flank throat (heavy) like 3 or 4 feathers
    -jungle fowl sides
    -Bronze mallard wing

    ;) Beautiful fly Davy! Love those wings! and hackle of course! Seems like I ran accross some black duck awhile back, but I cant remember what species! Gadwall maybe? Pintail? One of those I think.
