OK, the interesting part was what my catch had in it's mouth. I was looking for SRC and happened upon a 12" or so sculpin that had two whole crabs in it's mouth, each about the size of a 'Nilla Wafer, maybe a little bigger. So, has anyone out there had any success with crab patterns in Puget Sound? I know one wouldn't generally target Sculpins unless you need meat for a trap of some sort, but it did peak my interest as I had a few crab patterns that I didn't get to using when I was in Kauai...

yeah, that could be fun. We used to go out in the sound and catch all kinds of fish, but that was before I had ever picked up a fly rod...

When I was a kid we used to turn over the rocks and use those little crabs for bait to catch the bull heads to let them get sunburns. I guess that I didn't even put a dent in the population of Bull Heads.

Boy that was one hell of a long time ago. Try 60 years ago. In Bremerton.
