Learn to tie basic flies that are applicable to local fishing conditions: the Slump Buster, Bead Head Pheasant Tail Nymph, Clouser Minnow, Carey Special, and Elk Hair Caddis. We will provide students with a fundamental understanding of how flies are tied, proportioned, the materials and tools needed, and how to use them properly. The class consists of three two-hour sessions at Creekside's downtown Seattle location, and all the tools and materials will be provided. The class is structured so as to provide the student with all of the basic know-how needed to tie flies from start to finish. Catching fish on flies that you have tied is extremely rewarding and truly adds a new dimension for fly fishing.
The cost is $80.00, and each class session is held at Creekside's downtown Seattle shop from 6:30 - 8:30pm. You may secure your place in the class with payment at the time of sign-up. Gift Certificates are available. Contact Creekside for more information or to enroll.
