Did a little exploring yesterday and found a little jewel. The Jocko river just a bit North of Missoula on Hwy 93. A small river but in perfect shape for wade fishing. A couple hours found numerous Westslope cutts eager for the dry. Access is good although there is a section in the primitive area that is closed to fishing to non tribal members.

I'm always going out exploring small streams. A few weeks ago during some high water I went out and searched several small creeks that all ran into the Big Hole. When my gout goes away I think I'll go hit one or two of them.
