Fishing here this past week has been very good. Headed offshore 1 day to be greeted w/very sloppy condition's. Marked alot of fish but they were down deep. Couldn't get the line down due to the condition & fish weren't coming up. We hooked 2 fish & landed the 1st Albie of the year.

Dock light fishing has been red hot. Some of the lighted dock's are just covered w/small Jack's. We found a light that had only Snook & it was game on. 7 & 8wt's w/intermidiate line's & a size #4 all white Schminnow was all fished. Albie.JPG P1090298.JPG P1090300.JPG P1090299.JPG

Ooooooooooo, I love Jacks, and an early albie, nice! It looks like I might be making it back out to your area this summer again. If so, I hope to fish with you and Martin.

Very cool - I just read an article about a guy who drives canals casting to tarpon - then does a DNA sample for some project. I think this is cool.
Can a guy do OK on snook or is it tricky??

No it's not tricky. As long as you can throw 40 -50 feet accurately your in good shape. Mending can help you alot as presentation is key.
