    Hi everybody,

Im a belgian guy living in France. I started with fly fishing in the early 90's and with fly tying a bite later. Now i need to improve my skill of building rods and i'm very motivated:thumb:
To be honest, i have some informations on french sites but not so well made as the most famous known in US;)
I'm looking for a step by step method, so if someone is aware about that, feel free to tell me the link
Thanks a lot in advance for your answers (and sorry for my mistakes, i'm french speaker)
    Greetings to all of you

First off, hit up www.rodbuilding.org and read the FAQ.

Next get either the book by Tom Kirkman or Dale Clements, either can be gotten for cheap via amazon or ebay used (around $20?)

Then hit up this URL :)

    http://www.theworriedshrimp.com/2005/09/dan-craft-ft-8-weight-swift-water.html

it shows the step by step things this guy did to build up his fly rods. It doesn't show technique, but it will give you an idea of what he went through.

For specific questions, feel free to PM or post back here :)
