Haven't been on the forums much as of late. Busy pimping out the new boat and tying flies......for ME! Have decided to retire the commercial tying gig as it is having a negative impact on my health and life with all the time I spend at the bench. Too much "butt time".

Will post some more photos this week as time permits. First things first. Tomorrow I'm going fishing! First time out this year. How sad is that? Never started a season out this late but I'm sure I will make up for it. Enjoying my time living vicariously through all your trip reports so keep it up guys!

Thanks for asking! Yamaha G3 1448PF. This model has pedestal seats. No benches to step over. Pimped out with "lazy" in mind. Bowmount electric with remote control Co-Pilot from Minn Kota. Electric start 9.9 Yamaha 4 stroke. Scotty rodholders installed along with Scotty anchor pulleys. Just need to build a couple thwart boards for a loch style tournament I'm in in June. Just bought a second Humminbird Fishin' Buddy fishfinder so I don't have to go through the anguish of switching the bracket from one side to the other. lol

And after all that I didn't go fishing today like I planned. Did the responsible thing and knocked a couple more items off the "Honey Do' list. Should have earned enough points for fishing on the Canadian Long Weekend!

John, would love to see your new boat when ya get her fishing.

Hard for me to imagine you not tying & selling flies any longer. Hope this means even more fishing time for you???

How's the weather up there ?
I visited Tunkwa lake in June several years ago, it was chilly and windy the whole week.
Fish were full of shrimp, and there were brief callibaetis hatches in the afternoon. Lots of chironomids shucks bit no love for the patterns I offered
