    I got this little gem of a rod on loan for a little while and gave it a go on a favorite little cascade stream of mine. If you're considering getting a premium modern glass rod give this one some consideration. It's the best rod I've ever handled.

    I got one of his clear blanks in the 8'5wt. Love the rod. Great taper for my way of casting.

    Nice report!! great photos!
    Kabuto is a heck of character. good guy making good rods! I will be fishing his 8053 in a few days too. hopefully luck is on my side... : )
