Does anyone know the status of the March Spey clinic on the Sky? Will it still happen, or will they move it. TIA

    Why would they move it?

I found some info on their web site. I don't know if it is the latest:

    Spey Days--Free March 18-19

    Look under "Fly fishing schools"

It'll be tough to catch 'em just hitting them in the head with the end of my fly line.

    Regarding the statement by REBIZAP:

The sky closes march 1st due to low steelhead returns.
So just dont use a hook! You should be ok.

A comment, I spoke with the warden on duty at the Sportsman show at Monroe last weekend. You can practice only if you contact a Fish and Game office prior to hitting the water, advising when, where, vehicle(s) and I suppose participating names of those intending to flay the waters with practice. The warden in the field will be contacted and this saves their time in chasing down reports of illegal fishing activity. Best not to have anything on the end of the leader including yarn.

Using yarn is fine. We do it every Saturday year round on the Snoqualmie. Closed or not.
